“Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him. Children born to a young man are like arrows in a warrior’s hands. How joyful is the man whose quiver is full of them! He will not be put to shame when he confronts his accusers at the city gates.” Psalms 127:3-5 NLT
Who we are
We believe in the power of Christ-centered fellowship, raising our boys together into men of valor.
Spread the word.
Fathers of all walks of life are invited to bring their sons and enjoy. It's just that simple.
This is a great opportunity to serve with our sons and model the love of Christ. Volunteers will meet to begin making and packaging nearly 300 hotdog lunches that will be served to the homeless. Around 11:30AM we hit the streets of Oklahoma City to distribute the lunches to those who are homeless and hungry.
We’ll meet up in the unoccupied storefront next door to:

Autism Edmond Support
As father and son teams, we will be volunteering at this monthly event. Autism Edmond offers a support group for parents, caregivers, and professionals who need assistance with someone who is on the spectrum. We will serve at this event by interacting with children and young adults as their parents and caregivers receive beneficial support and training.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere...” Acts of the Apostles 1:8 NLT
"As I deepen and develop my relationship with my son through serving and prayer, we grow closer to Christ. It's a beautiful thing!"
“I love to serve with my son. I enjoy showing him how to serve other people like Jesus served. He is always eager to help and I love to see the smile on his face when he is serving others. It has gotten to the point when he hears about an opportunity to serve he comes and ask me to do it. When we serve together it always brings up interesting conversations afterwards and helps us grow closer to each other.”
-Officer Matt Sheltman
"With a son, not only do we get to learn about each other, but we have the privilege to help them heal, and point them to God through Jesus. "
"So great to see fathers working together with their sons...you guys were such a HUGE help to the OKCity Center!"
I'd say serving others is the best way to truly build our character and strengthen our value in the eyes of our heavenly father. That's the kind of man I'd love my step son to be, a man full of the best kind of character.
“ As I began to know God more and as my heart began to soften I realized it was time to father with love and began healing the hearts of my sons so they could be a loving father and a confident man one day. I came across Ignite ministries and it gave me the opportunity to serve God and spend time with my sons at the same time. Man I couldn’t be happier with our experience. Tim and his son make everything so fun and exciting that my kids had a blast. They are so welcoming and Tim is so aware of the reality that you may be out of your comfort zone with this father and son thing and that you may not even know how to do it, like I was for sure but it just flows so smooth that on the way home the talks I had with my sons were talks of a real father and son. I definitely recommend Ignite ministries to every father and son regardless of the kind of relationship either great or struggling because honoring God and others together is what life is all about and Ignite ministries gives you that opportunity.”
“I love serving with my son at Ignite Ministries. It’s my responsibility as a father to teach my son about God‘s love. I can do that by serving with him as we serve others. Ignite is a great ministry that extends God’s love to the community and helps provide us the opportunity to part of it.”
